Sutherland Marshall Professional Corporation is a small general practice firm in Oakville, Ontario, founded in 2014. The firm grew out of the law office of Thomas H. Marshall, Q.C., and now operates with two lawyers, John David Sutherland and Crystal Kakos Sutherland, supported by law clerk Lisa Quesnelle from a single office on Lakeshore Road East. The practice concentrates on real estate law, family law, wills and estate planning, corporate law, and notarial services, and it takes on residential and commercial real estate matters, incorporations, and business files for clients across Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Hamilton, Mississauga, and Guelph.

John David Sutherland earned a B.A. (Honours) in political science and history from the University of Toronto in 2007, then completed dual law degrees at Michigan State University College of Law in 2012 and the University of Ottawa in 2013, and was called to the Ontario bar in September 2014. Crystal Kakos Sutherland graduated magna cum laude from Michigan State University College of Law and is licensed to practice in both Ontario and Michigan, with a background in civil litigation and insurance defense before moving into a solicitor's practice covering residential real estate, wills and estates, and family law. Thomas H. Marshall, Q.C., who was called to the Ontario bar in 1970 and practiced for more than five decades, retired from the firm on April 30, 2021, and the firm still carries the Marshall name.
