About Sekhon Legal Services

Sekhon Legal Services is a solo estates practice in Oakville, Ontario, built around a single lawyer, Gosha G. S. Sekhon, who meets clients by appointment rather than running a walk-in office. Sekhon graduated from the University of Calgary with a B.A. in political science and sociology, went on to Queen's Law School, and was called to the bar in Ontario in 2004. Sekhon also holds the Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation, a credential focused specifically on estate and trust work.

Before opening the firm, Sekhon worked in private practice and then at a major financial institution, advising high net worth individuals on estate planning and estate administration. That background carries through to the firm's current focus: wills, powers of attorney, trusts, and probate strategy for individuals, families, professionals, small business owners, and retirees, along with work as a court appointed Estate Trustee During Litigation when an estate dispute needs a neutral trustee. Sekhon belongs to the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Canada, the Ontario Bar Association, the Estate Planning Council of Halton, and the Oakville Chamber of Commerce.
