About Rishi Bandhu

Bandhu Law Professional Corporation, known as BLPC, was a solo employment and labour law practice based in Oakville, Ontario. Rishi Bandhu graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2003 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2004. Bandhu's own biography describes starting a legal career at a firm the practice later called Canada's largest management side labour and employment law firm, then working at two other firms before establishing BLPC in Oakville in 2013.

BLPC's own website described the firm as advising and representing employers on employment, labour, and human rights matters, offering workplace investigations, HR training, labour relations advice, and litigation. A separate biography of Bandhu's career describes a mixed practice from 2013 to 2024, representing both employers and employees, after focusing on employer side work from 2004 to 2012. Bandhu appeared as counsel before the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and labour arbitrators, and the practice is described as having about 20 years of experience in wrongful dismissal litigation.

BLPC is no longer an active law practice. In 2024, Bandhu was appointed a full time Vice Chair of the Ontario Labour Relations Board, and the blpc.ca domain now redirects to a personal website offering private arbitration and mediation services. Bandhu was recognized in Best Lawyers in Canada for 2023, 2024, and 2025.
