Gleis Law's website states that Madison Gleis is currently on sabbatical from law and accepting somatic wellness clients only. Anyone with a family law matter should contact the firm directly to confirm current availability.

What family law services does Gleis Law offer?

Gleis Law focuses on separation and divorce work, including mediation, arbitration, and a combined med/arb process, along with litigation. The firm also handles child custody and parenting disputes, child and spousal support, property division, and cohabitation, marriage, and separation agreements.

What's the difference between mediation and arbitration?

Gleis Law describes mediation as a process where the parties retain a third-party professional to help them reach an agreement, and arbitration as a process where the parties appoint an arbitrator to review the evidence and arguments and make a decision. The firm also offers med/arb, a two-step process that starts with negotiation and moves to a binding decision if the parties don't reach an agreement.

What is the founder's legal background?

Gleis Law's founder, Madison Gleis, holds a law degree from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, and has practiced family law since being called to the bar. Madison Gleis is a member of the Halton County Law Association and the Advocates' Society.

Does Gleis Law offer anything besides legal services?
