Virtual appointmentsDelta Law is a fully virtual business law firm. Founder Sophie Mohyuddin started it to give growing companies the kind of senior, commercially grounded legal support that used to be available only to bigger organizations. Rather than a storefront office, the firm meets Ontario clients by appointment at a shared office suite in Oakville and serves Alberta clients from a virtual Calgary location. Its practice centers on contract law, corporate structuring and incorporation, and fractional general counsel, where a business gets ongoing access to senior counsel instead of hiring in-house, with a proposal tailored to the scope, level of support, and service structure the business needs. Delta Law also advises sales and revenue leaders on deal execution and forecasting, and handles construction law matters such as liens, holdbacks, and prompt payment disputes under Ontario's Construction Act.
Mohyuddin earned a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in 2019 and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Mount Royal University in 2014, then completed the Osgoode Certificate in Construction Law at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2023. Mohyuddin belongs to the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association and teaches Contract Law as a professor at Fanshawe College. The firm's clients span technology and SaaS companies, healthcare and wellness practices, manufacturers, food and beverage businesses, and engineering and construction firms, many of them regulated professionals setting up a professional corporation.

Free consultationDelta Law doesn't run a walk-in storefront practice. Its Ontario meeting address, on Upper Middle Road East in Oakville, is a shared executive-suite building offering furnished private offices and meeting rooms to several businesses at once, not a dedicated law office. That fits how the firm describes its own model: client work happens mostly by phone and video, with the Oakville suite used for in-person meetings by appointment. The Calgary side of the practice works the same way, as a virtual base for Alberta clients rather than a physical office. It's a setup built around scheduled access to a single senior lawyer rather than a downtown legal address.
