About Wilson Law

Wilson Law is a small law office in downtown Guelph, run by Marti E. Wilson. The practice sticks to three areas. Real estate covers purchases, sales, and refinancing. The corporate and commercial side handles incorporations, reorganizations, amalgamations, commercial leases, and the buying and selling of assets or shares. Wills and estates rounds it out, with wills, powers of attorney, guardianship applications, and estate administration.

Marti Wilson grew up in Sault Ste. Marie and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Guelph before taking a law degree at Queen's University. Called to the Ontario bar in 1992, Wilson articled with a litigation firm in Toronto, then spent close to 13 years in Banff, Alberta, joining the Alberta bar in 2004 and practising at Eric Harvie Law Office from 2006 to 2011. A move back to Guelph in 2011 led to several years at Farley Law Office through December 2016, and the office now runs under Wilson's own name. A full-time real estate clerk joined the team in 2019.
