Kemper graduated from the University of Ottawa with highest distinction before earning a J.D. there and being called to the Ontario bar in 2012, having articled with the federal Department of Justice, and now sits on that same board. Both lawyers belong to the Ontario Collaborative Law Federation and the Durham Region Law Association, memberships that track the firm's focus on resolving separations outside a courtroom when that's realistic for the family involved.
