Waterous Holden Amey Hitchon LLP is a full service law firm based in Brantford, Ontario, with a second office in nearby Paris. The firm traces its start to 1921, when Reginald J. Waterous was called to the Ontario Bar and opened a practice in Brantford, Waterous's home city and a descendant of George Robinson VanNorman, Brantford's first Crown Attorney in 1853. Waterous went on to serve three terms as Brantford's mayor and, during the Second World War, held the federal post of Director of Human and Material Resources, before dying unexpectedly in 1955.

Richard N. Waterous, Reginald's son, was called to the bar three weeks after Reginald Waterous's death and took over the Brantford practice. Clark Holden joined the practice in 1959, and the two built up the firm's business law work from a converted residence on Wellington Street. A 1984 merger with the practice of Peter Forbes, James Hitchon, and Peter Quinlan brought the firm to its current name. Today Waterous has grown to more than 20 lawyers and 50 support staff, working from Brantford and Paris on business and corporate law, employment law, family law, litigation, personal injury, real estate, wills and estates, and bankruptcy and insolvency, plus a separate Waterous ADR service for family law clients who don't want to go to court. Clients range from individuals and families to small and large businesses, financial institutions, government agencies, and charitable and not for profit organizations, including agricultural operations in Brant County.
