About Xiuling
Xiuling Wang is a Toronto-area criminal defence lawyer who holds a Canadian law degree and originally trained at the China University of Political Science and Law, giving her a legal background in both countries. Before practising law in Canada, she worked as a certified Ontario court interpreter on criminal cases and held a position with an Ontario Crown Attorney's office, which she says gives her insight into how prosecutors approach cases. Her practice serves Chinese-speaking clients directly in Mandarin, with bilingual explanation of legal documents and case developments, handling matters including impaired driving, drug offences, weapons charges, assault, fraud, theft, sexual assault, and domestic violence, including bail hearings.
