About Susan
Susan Larmer was born and raised in North Bay, where her father taught at Chippewa Secondary School and her mother worked as a social worker. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Nipissing University and her law degree from Dalhousie University in 1989, then articled with the Office of the Attorney General's Crown Civil branch before being called to the bar in 1991. She has practised personal injury litigation in North Bay for over 30 years, focusing on claims against insurance companies, disability claims, and CPP appeals. She is a member of the Nipissing Law Association and the Law Society of Ontario, and is a current member and former director of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association.
