About Stéphanie

Stéphanie Noreau is a notary and legal counsel practising in Québec City. Noreau took over the practice and registry of notary André Lafrenière, formerly of Duberger, and holds his archived deeds and files, so his former clients can reach Noreau for certified copies or amendments. Noreau's work covers wills and mandates of protection, real estate purchases and financing, estate settlement, non-contentious court-substitute procedures such as homologating a mandate of protection or opening a protective supervision regime, and corporate matters such as incorporations and shareholder agreements. Noreau studied law at Université Laval, was named to the Faculty of Law's honour roll, and received an admission scholarship into the university's notarial law program. Noreau completed the required notarial articling stage with an established practice on Québec's South Shore before opening the current office.
