About Sophie

Sophie Vézina is a detail-oriented lawyer who has also worked as a civil, commercial, and employment mediator since 2017. Originally from Quebec City, she began her career there before moving her practice to the Thetford Mines region in 2007. She became a partner at Gagné Larouche Vézina s.e.n.c. in 2011, which became Gagné Vézina s.e.n.c. and later Lessard Vézina cabinet d'avocats s.e.n.c. Vézina is a supervising professor at the École du Barreau's legal clinic, sits on several local investment-fund and school-board committees, and is a governor of the Fondation du Barreau du Québec. She served as bâtonnière of the Barreau d'Arthabaska from 2017 to 2018.
