About Sidney

Sidney Troister is a senior Ontario real estate practitioner who acts as counsel to title insurers and provides transaction strategy and litigation support. He authored The Law of Subdivision Control in Ontario and founded the Law Society of Ontario's annual Real Estate Law Summit, which he chaired for two decades. His mediation and arbitration practice is limited to real estate and commercial leasing disputes.
