About Sarah

Sarah M. Donohue is the lead counsel at Donohue Defence, a criminal defence firm in Sarnia. She previously worked at a high-risk mental health facility directly with patients on criminal justice plans, and spent five years managing a child and youth facility responsible for behaviour management of at-risk youth. She attended the University of Windsor Law School, where she volunteered with the local Legal Aid Clinic, was published in the Windsor Review of Legal and Social Issues, and completed a clerking placement with the Supreme Court in the Northwest Territories. Sarah has experience at all levels of criminal court, and early in her career she appealed a loss and had the conviction overturned by the court of appeal. She is a member of the Donohue family, which has provided criminal defence representation in Lambton County for over 100 years.
