Avocat at Sine Qua Non Services Juridiques
Samuel Proulx Lemire began developing an interest in labour law during a Barreau du Québec articling term at the Syndicat des travailleurs et travailleuses unis du Québec (STUQ). After a brief period in independent practice, Proulx Lemire found a strong interest in representing individuals before both civil and administrative tribunals, boards and commissions. In spring 2007, Proulx Lemire joined a group of lawyers then known as Poulin Larose Proulx Lemire and built a practice centred on social-economy organizations, cooperatives and associations, with a focus on social justice and solidarity. Proulx Lemire completed an MBA at Université Laval in 2011, which now supports strategic business advice alongside legal counsel, and is currently pursuing part-time studies in political philosophy. Proulx Lemire has served as a director, officer, litigator, advisor or negotiator for numerous non-profit organizations and cooperatives, and founded the firm Sine Qua Non in 2015.
