About Samuel
Samuel Michaels is the founding lawyer of SM Legal Professional Corporation, which he started in 2017 after graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School and receiving his license to practice law in Ontario. He practises primarily in corporate law, working with company founders and shareholders on matters including share structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and employee onboarding, and helping resolve internal disputes between founders, clients, or suppliers. Before starting his own practice, he worked in legal aid clinics and law firms, which gave him a background in both employment law and corporate law. Michaels is based in Toronto, where he is active in the city's legal-tech and entrepreneur communities, and he supports several access-to-justice initiatives across the GTA.
