About Samantha

Samantha Ramage grew up on Manitoulin Island, attending Manitoulin Secondary School before studying journalism at Cambrian College. She later returned to school at Lakehead University and became part of the inaugural class of Lakehead's Bora Laskin Faculty of Law, a program that blends Canadian and Aboriginal law and includes an integrated practice curriculum in place of traditional articling. As part of that curriculum she completed a placement with Toronto firm Falconers LLP, where she worked through law school before being hired as an associate, and she was called to the Ontario bar in 2016. She went on to open Ramage Law Office, a general practice with offices in Little Current on Manitoulin Island and in Espanola, handling child protection and select family law matters, estate planning, real estate and notary work.
