About Rachel
Rachel Taylor practises family law, focusing on separation and divorce, mediation, adoption, adult guardianship, and child protection, along with related real estate and estate work. She is a trained mediator who helps clients resolve disputes without going to court, and she also represents clients at all levels of the Nova Scotia court system, including Family Court, Supreme Court, and the Court of Appeal. Rachel earned her law degree in the United Kingdom in 1997 and later completed nine challenge exams to convert her UK qualification to a Canadian law degree before returning to practise law exclusively in 2018. She has volunteered with the Annapolis Valley Exhibition, the Bridgetown Ciderfest, and Apple Tree Landing, and was recognized by the Nova Scotia legislature for her work modernizing the Lawrencetown Exhibition.
