About Peyton
Peyton Smith grew up in the Parkland area, in Laurier, Ste. Rose, and Dauphin, and graduated from Dauphin Regional Comprehensive Secondary School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from the University of Manitoba in 2018 and her Juris Doctor from the same school in 2021, then moved back to Dauphin with her spouse. She articled with a local law firm in 2021-2022 and worked as an associate until 2025, when she opened Lennan Law. She serves as a board member of the Parkland Crisis Centre and the Dauphin Magical Horizons Daycare Centre and is a member of the Kilty Curling club.
