About Maya

Maya Damoun is the founding partner of Damounlégal, with close to twenty years of legal practice. Damoun founded the firm in 2016 to give business clients efficient, creative legal solutions tailored to their needs. Before starting the firm, Damoun worked as a senior associate at leading national law firms, as senior legal counsel at a major Quebec-based private equity and buyout investment firm, and as a corporate secretary. Damoun's practice covers mergers and acquisitions, business transfers, private and institutional financing, commercial contracts, corporate tax reorganizations, employee share option plans, management buyouts, incorporation, and shareholder agreements.
