About Matthew
Matthew Gould is an associate lawyer at Rutman & Rutman Professional Corporation, called to the Ontario Bar in 2025. He completed his law studies at the University of Leicester with First Class Honours, building on an earlier degree in Criminology and Political Science from Western University. While studying law he excelled in Trial Advocacy, Estates and Trusts, and Constitutional Law, and rose to Deputy Director of the Leicester Legal Advice Clinic, which offers free legal help locally. He completed his articles at the firm, gaining hands-on experience at the Landlord and Tenant Board, in Small Claims Court, and before the Superior Court of Justice. His growing practice covers civil litigation, including contract and landlord-tenant disputes, along with wills and estates and employment law.
