About Matia

Matia Matkovic is a partner at Matkovic Allan LLP with more than 20 years of experience concentrated in family law. Matkovic co-founded the firm in 2009 with a business partner, aiming to give clients the guidance they need to make informed decisions during a family breakdown. The practice covers litigation as well as mediation and arbitration, with court treated as a last resort where negotiation or mediation could instead resolve the matter. Matkovic is a trained mediator and certified arbitrator, and belongs to the Canadian Bar Association, the Calgary Family Bar Association, and the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC).
