Marie-Noëlle Closson Duquette graduated in law from Université Laval and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2001. She began her career as an arbitration coordinator at Bombardier Aéronautique, then articled with the ADISQ, where she practised labour relations law. In 2003 she was recruited by Astral Média radio and Astral Média affichage as in-house counsel, and was promoted to director of legal affairs in 2005, developing expertise in commercial, transactional, real estate, and entertainment law. She sat as a municipal councillor in Sainte-Thérèse from 2005 to 2009, opened her own firm in 2012, and became an accredited commercial mediator through the Barreau du Québec in 2017. She co-hosts the legal podcast Enregistrement en cour(s) on OHdio and is active in her community and regional economic development.
