About Louis

Louis Sirois has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 1987 and has practised tax law exclusively for nearly forty years. Sirois is a former opposition officer at Revenu Québec, giving insight into how tax authorities build and defend their files. Sirois's practice covers tax litigation before the Tax Court of Canada and Quebec tribunals, departure tax (exit tax) planning, cryptocurrency taxation, voluntary disclosure programs, executive severance negotiation, and contested estates, including will disputes, capacity challenges, and the removal of liquidators. The firm, based in Laval, serves clients across Canada in French and English, and bills at $375 an hour with flat-fee arrangements available depending on the mandate.
