About Lory

Lory Zakarian is a criminal and penal defence lawyer practising in the Montreal area. She has practised criminal law since 2019, after gaining experience as an articling student and as a clerk at the Quebec Court of Appeal in Montreal. Zakarian holds a Bachelor of Civil Law and a Juris Doctor in Common Law Studies from the Université de Sherbrooke, completed between 2013 and 2016. She previously volunteered with Concordia University's Legal Information Center, helping draft legal information materials for students. Zakarian is fluent in French, English and Armenian, and her practice covers drug offences, driving offences, theft, weapons offences, financial crimes, violent crimes and other criminal and penal matters.
