About Lison

Lison Jacques has practised family and civil law since being called to the bar in 2007. She has also been an accredited family mediator for more than 20 years and holds a diploma in legal techniques from 2003. Since 2018 she has taken part in a small-claims mediation pilot project at the Cour du Québec in Joliette, offering a free mediation session to citizens the day of their hearing. She regularly mentors law and legal-technique students, and has taught legal techniques at the Cégep régional de Lanaudière since 2013. She has also served on the board of Inter-femmes and on the activities committee of the Jeune Chambre de commerce de Repentigny.
