Lisa Dang is the founder of Lisa Dang Immigration Law, a boutique Canadian immigration practice in Vaughan, Ontario. She has practiced immigration law exclusively since 2009, following earlier positions at boutique immigration firms in Toronto including Capelle Kane Immigration Lawyers. Dang assists individuals, families, and employers with a wide range of matters, including family sponsorships, work and study permits, economic immigration, criminal and medical inadmissibility, temporary resident permits, criminal rehabilitation, pre-removal risk assessments, and citizenship applications, and also provides legal opinion letters on the immigration consequences of criminal charges for foreign nationals and permanent residents. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law (2018) and a B.A. (Hons.) in Law & Society from York University (2015), and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020. Dang is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Refugee Lawyers Association, and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
