About Lahcène

Lahcène Allem graduated from the UQAM law faculty in 2019 and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2020. He also studied medicine and holds a bachelor's degree in health sciences, and he completed his Barreau articling term with the CIUSSS de la Montérégie Centre. His practice centers on the law of persons, particularly mental health law, where he represents clients in matters such as involuntary hospitalization, treatment orders, and proceedings before the Commission d'examen des troubles mentaux. He accepts legal aid mandates for mental health law files, though not for his other areas of practice, which include family law and estate matters before the courts.
