About Kenneth

Kenneth Heintz is a partner at Venture Law Group LLP, which he co-founded with Shelley Smith on June 3, 1996. Kenneth has a general practice with an emphasis on civil litigation, along with corporate, contract, insurance, and agricultural law matters, and personal injury and fatal accident claims. Kenneth has appeared before various administrative tribunals in Alberta as well as the Alberta Court of Justice, the Court of King's Bench of Alberta, the Court of Appeal of Alberta, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Kenneth earned a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in Economics and Political Science from the University of Alberta in 1983 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 1987. Kenneth has a ranching background and represents participants in Alberta's cattle industry. Kenneth is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers Association.
