About Kamal

Kamal Akhtar is a licensed immigration lawyer and lead counsel of a Brampton-based practice serving individuals, families, students, workers and businesses navigating Canadian immigration matters. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Osgoode Hall Law School and a postgraduate diploma with honours in Canadian immigration law, and is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. He is also affiliated with the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Immigration Lawyers Association and the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants. His practice covers permanent residence applications, work and study permits, refugee and protected person claims, and appeals before the Immigration Appeal Division, the Immigration Division, the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court. He serves clients in English, Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi.
