About John

John Barber's practice spans wills, trusts, and estates, real estate, corporate and commercial law, and uncontested matters in family law. He graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a degree in Religious Studies and Philosophy, then attended the University of Saskatchewan's law school, graduating in 1985 and being called to the Bar in 1986. He founded the Assiniboia Law Group in Charleswood, retired from practice in 2021, and has since returned to practice part-time, joining McRoberts Law Office LLP in 2023. Mediation work has also been part of his practice.
