About Jeff

Jeff Thorsteinsson founded Thorsteinsson & Company in 1992, focusing exclusively on family law. He obtained his law degree from the University of Victoria in 1983 and articled with a major downtown Vancouver firm before opening his own practice. His work covers custody and guardianship issues, child and spousal support, and division of property, and he has acted as both negotiator and litigator before BC courts. He has also served as a mediator and has handled complex family law cases that touch on taxation, corporate matters, and real estate. He prioritizes out-of-court resolutions while remaining prepared to litigate when necessary.
