About Jean-François

Jean-François Têtu is originally from Jonquière. He began his law studies at the Université de Montpellier in France, continued at UQAM in legal sciences, and completed his LL.B. at Université Laval in May 1991. He went on to complete his professional bar training in criminal and penal law with the office of the Directeur des poursuites pénales et criminelles in 1993, and has practised on his own for more than 30 years since, focusing on criminal and penal defence.
