About Jean-François

Jean-François Bertrand joined the civil and commercial litigation section of Tassé Avocats in 2004 and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since that year. He became a partner in 2008 and, when the firm became Tassé Bertrand Avocats in 2012, took on the role of managing partner for the litigation section. He represents business clients before all civil courts in complex disputes, particularly in bankruptcy, insolvency and construction law. He teaches civil procedure as a lecturer at the École du Barreau and sits on a number of boards and Barreau du Québec committees, and now serves as president of the firm.
