About Jean-Alain

Lemieux founded his own firm and also practised in Montreal and Quebec City in association with it. He advises employers and individuals in labour and employment law, including union certification and employment standards, and regularly handles collective agreement negotiations, conciliation, mediation and grievance arbitration for clients including manufacturers, grocers, police services, municipalities, schools, financial institutions and health and social-service organizations. He also practices insurance law, handling policyholders' claims against insurers, and advises on bank financing, bankruptcy and consumer proposals, drawing on his own background as an entrepreneur in real estate and commercial ventures.
