About Jacquelyn

Jacquelyn Hovey completed her articles with Duke & Company and became an associate at the firm in April 2026. During her articling term she gained hands-on experience in family law, child welfare, civil litigation, immigration, and real estate, working with clients across Alberta, including rural communities such as St. Paul, Hinton, and Wetaskiwin. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology with distinction from Concordia University Edmonton before pursuing an accelerated law degree at the University of Dundee in Scotland. She has recently joined the Legal Aid roster.
