About Helen

Helen Sanders practises family law, including collaborative law, divorce, common-law union disputes, custody and access, spousal and child support, division of assets and liabilities, jurisdictional issues, international custody matters, representation of children, adoption and child protection. She earned a B.A. (Hons) in English Language and Literature and an LL.B. from the University of Adelaide in Australia, then completed a B.C.L. and LL.B. at McGill University. She belongs to the Quebec Bar Association, the Quebec Collaborative Law Group, the Association des avocates et avocats en droit familial du Québec, and the Barreau du Québec, and is a member of the Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce and the Collaborative Family Law Group. She was named a Governor of the Quebec Bar Foundation for a three-year term beginning in 2015.
