About Estes

Estes Fonkalsrud earned his Bachelor of Administration and Master of Business Administration from the University of Regina, focusing on accounting and finance, before obtaining his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan in 1998. He worked with the provincial government and a large financial institution prior to opening his own firm, and was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2001. Fonkalsrud has appeared before all levels of court in Saskatchewan on criminal, family, and civil matters, and previously served as an agent for the Attorney General of Canada conducting federal prosecutions, as well as legal adviser to two federal candidates. He is active in the Moose Jaw community, having served as a former president of the Moose Jaw Bar Association and volunteering with the YMCA, the Shrine Club, Habitat for Humanity, and the Humane Society.
