About Diana

Diana Sitoianu is a criminal defence lawyer who represents both individuals and organizations before courts of first instance and the Court of Appeal of Quebec. Since her call to the bar, she has handled a range of complex files, including firearms charges, crimes against the person such as sexual assault and homicide, and economic crimes. She has experience conducting lengthy, complex trials, including jury trials. She has served on the board of Communitas, an organization focused on the social reintegration of offenders, and has contributed to the McGill Innocence Project and Innocence Canada. She co-authored a chapter on managing shared corporate legal mandates in criminal files, published in Développements récents en droit criminel (2026). She is a member of the Young Bar of Montreal (AJBM), the Montreal criminal defence lawyers' association (AADM), and the Quebec association of criminal defence lawyers (AQAAD).
