About Daniel

Daniel R. Guay practises civil, commercial, municipal, agricultural, manufacturing, real estate, business and succession law. He earned his law degree in civil law from the University of Ottawa, having previously completed a bachelor's degree in political science, specializing in political thought, at the same university. Guay served as senior strategic advisor to a major Canadian federal government ministry before establishing his practice in Old Montreal and later relocating his office to the Basses-Laurentides region. An experienced litigator, he is regarded as a pioneer in civil and commercial mediation, and has advised businesses and individuals in the raw materials, manufacturing, transportation and real estate sectors, as well as in dealings with municipal, provincial and federal authorities.
