About Dan

Dan Wyjad practises primarily in civil litigation and family law with Wylaw Professional Corporation, while also handling real estate, estate planning and administration, and corporate and commercial matters. Before turning to law, he taught human physiology and social biology at Dawson College in Montreal from 1970 to 1973. He graduated from law school in 1977, articled with Powell Cunningham & Grandy in Parry Sound, and started his own general practice in Bracebridge in 1979. He later opened a second office in Parry Sound in 1991 and a third office in Minden, in Haliburton County, in 2002. He has a particular interest in the law relating to roads and easements for rights of way. He is a member of the Muskoka Law Association and the Canadian Bar Association, and has been active with the Rotary Club of Bracebridge since 1983, including a term as its president.
