Business & Corporate LawCrystal R. Eninew was born and raised in Lac La Ronge, Saskatchewan, and is Cree and a member of the Lac La Ronge Indian Band. She received her Bachelor of Arts with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007, completed the Program of Legal Studies for Native People that same summer, and earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan College of Law in 2010. During law school she served as President of the Aboriginal Law Students' Association and as the Aboriginal Student Representative on the board of Community Legal Assistance Services for Saskatoon Inner City Inc. (CLASSIC), and worked part-time for the Federation of Saskatchewan Indian Nations Justice Secretariat and the Native Law Centre of Canada. She articled with Legal Aid Saskatchewan in Prince Albert and was admitted to the Law Society of Saskatchewan in May 2011. Crystal practised with Novus Law Group from 2011 to 2017 and with McAuley Law Firm from 2017 to 2018 before opening her own practice in April 2018. She practises primarily in family law, criminal law, real estate, corporate law, Aboriginal law, and child protection, appearing regularly before the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan, the Court of Queen's Bench, and the Federal Court of Canada. Crystal has served as President of the Prince Albert Bar Association since 2012 and is a member of the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers Association; in March 2018 she was recognized by the Lac La Ronge Indian Band for outstanding achievement as a career role model.
