About Clara

Clara De Brito has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2016 and works full-time as a legal researcher and writer, supporting other Quebec lawyers across various areas of law, particularly family, estate and general civil law. De Brito prepares books of authorities and research memos for litigation files, always citing the sources behind the arguments found, and also drafts and reviews procedural documents such as originating applications and formal notices (mises en demeure). Billing is hourly, with rates set to make outsourcing this work cost-effective for the retaining lawyer's own clients.
