About Christelle

Christelle Dorion holds a law degree from the Université de Sherbrooke and has been a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2006. She practices mainly in family law, handling matters of child custody, child support and divorce, and after years of litigation experience trained as a family mediator to offer negotiated and mediated settlements. She served as president of the Jeune Barreau de Bedford's board from 2011 to 2013, vice-president of the Association des jeunes barreaux du Québec board over the same period, and has chaired the board of Le Parenfant Montérégie since 2017 after joining it in 2011. She has also been responsible for continuing education for the Bedford district since 2012 and volunteered at free legal-advice phone clinics in 2009 and 2010.
