About Caine

Caine Chapman founded Chapman Tax Law in 2025 and focuses his practice on tax planning and tax dispute resolution for individuals, families, and businesses. He works primarily with owner-managers on tax planning and intergenerational transfers of wealth and businesses, and has represented clients in audits, objections, and tax appeals. He also maintains a wills and estate planning practice, helping clients with tax-efficient succession strategies, trust planning, and estate administration. Before founding the firm, Chapman articled for the judges of the Tax Court of Canada and worked at a national law firm and a tax boutique. He holds a law degree from Queen's University, a master's degree in economics from McMaster University, and an undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Ottawa. He is a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation, the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Advocates Society.
