About Benoit

Benoit Fortier has practised law in private practice on Montreal's North Shore for more than 30 years, focusing on business law. He acts as legal counsel on incorporation, corporate reorganization, the purchase and sale of businesses, mergers and acquisitions, and financing and security matters, and regularly helps clients negotiate a range of commercial contracts. Over the years he has been a member of various organizations and boards of directors in the Laurentides region, and he currently sits on the board of the Caisse Desjardins Thérèse-de-Blainville. He was admitted to the Barreau du Québec in 1987 and holds an LL.B. from the Université de Montréal (1986).
