About Bassel

Bassel Hussein is an associate lawyer at ME Law Professional Corporation, a litigation boutique focused on complex commercial disputes, shareholder conflicts, estate litigation, and injunctions. He was called to the Ontario Bar in June 2024 and holds a Juris Doctor and an MBA with a specialization in finance from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Schulich School of Business at York University. Before joining the firm, he assisted on a range of litigation matters, attending discoveries, mediations, and trials, and preparing memoranda on liability and damages issues, while also gaining experience in corporate structuring and shareholder agreements. His dual legal and business training, along with prior work in banking and capital markets, supports his focus on commercial, financial markets, and creditor-debtor disputes. Bassel practises in English and Arabic.
