Anthony L.R. Oliver was called to the Alberta Bar on August 4, 2014. He founded Oliver Litigation in Edmonton in October 2018, focusing on ADR-oriented civil and criminal litigation and providing strategic advice and representation to First Nations, police, and non-profit organizations. Before founding the firm, he worked at the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service in St. Paul and Grande Prairie from 2015 to 2018, handling provincial and federal prosecutions and providing pre-charge advice to RCMP detachments, and served as a judicial law clerk to the Honourable Leonard (Tony) Mandamin at the Federal Court of Canada from 2014 to 2015. He articled with Alberta Justice and Solicitor General from 2011 to 2014 across prosecutions, civil litigation, and Aboriginal law, and was contracted by Sturgeon Lake Cree Nation as its legal officer. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Civil Trial Lawyers' Association, the Criminal Trial Lawyers' Association's Policing Committee, the Gladue Advisory Committee, and the Indigenous Lawyers' Forum.
