ATA Law Corporation is a small law firm in Richmond, British Columbia, that describes itself as having served the community and clients beyond it for more than a decade. Lead counsel Annie Chen holds a Juris Doctor from the University of British Columbia (2012) and was called to the bar of British Columbia in 2013. Before law school, Chen earned a BA in English literature and an MA in cross-cultural communication in China, worked for an immigration consulting firm and a pharmaceutical company, and spent time in Beijing as a university lecturer and as a translator and tutor for an NBA player. Associate counsel Stanley Ip trained in the United Kingdom, earning a law degree and a legal practice diploma from the City Law School at the University of London and a philosophy degree from Simon Fraser University, then worked as a trainee solicitor in England and in Vancouver immigration consulting before articling at the firm and being called to the BC bar in 2023.
