About AIM Law Office

AIM Law Office is a small family law practice in Burnaby, British Columbia. The name stands for Advocacy, Integrity and Merit, which the firm says guides how it works with clients toward a resolution. It's led by lawyer and family law mediator Ana Kim Dzitac, who co-founded the firm and serves as its CEO. Dzitac was called to the Alberta bar in 2015 and to the British Columbia bar in 2019, and is an active member of the Law Society of British Columbia. Before moving to BC, Dzitac worked as an associate lawyer at a multi-service firm in Alberta, then as an associate family law lawyer at a firm in downtown Vancouver.

The firm's family law work runs from amicable separation and cohabitation agreements worked out through mediation to contested matters that go to a court hearing or trial. AIM Law Office also takes on general civil litigation, including contract disputes and small claims, along with wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements and estate matters, and it offers notary services and limited scope legal help for clients who only need assistance with one part of a case. Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer Isabel, who is fluent in English and Korean, oversees the firm's day to day operations.
